Drive for Diversity Remains Strong 20 Years Later

Twenty years ago was the eve of the first NASCAR Drive for Diversity Combine. It was great to work alongside Daryl Stewart and Patrick Walsh to ensure this program got off the ground; those long hours and calculated decisions make its success much sweeter. A h/t to Don Hawk and Jonathan Norman for the assist.

Rev Racing has done great work taking the program to heights we could only imagine 20 years ago, by creating even more meaningful, higher-profile opportunities for minority and female competitors.

The first five drivers to advance out of that 2004 combine are in the photo – (L-R) Morty Buckles, Allison Duncan, Bruce Driver, Reggie Primus and Joe Henderson III.
